Great instructors! Great experience! I would highly recommend Advantage Driver Training to everyone. I learned a lot more than how to pass the test and obtain my CDL. Very well run. Very professional and still had fun!!!Everyone did a great job in-spite of Covid restrictions. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from these fine folks. Thank you Advantage Driver Training for helping me start a new career!!!! The student to instructor ratio was 5 to 1! Compared to college or K-12 where its 25-30 (or more) I thought it was awesome! Everyone always took time to answer my questions and made sure I understood what I needed. A couple of my classmates had conflicts with personal stuff, Advantage Driver Training Team was quick and easy to accommodate them and their schedules. Do Not! Listen to the bad reviews. Those are probably the same people that sat around b.s.’ing about their hot new video games instead of studying the material and asking questions.

Great place to learn how to drive a semi truck and how to pass the CDL exams. All the instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. Very inexpensive compared to other schools. No up charges if it takes you longer than 160 hours. If you're not ready for the exam, they won't let you take exam. Trust them, they want to see you pass not fail. And when they say learn your pre-trip they mean it. Took me 12wks to be ready. Took all 3 exams today and passed them all!

it’s not what I thought it was going to be. They only teach you how to get your CDL. They don’t show you how to connect a trailer and the only backing you do is in the skills yard. There are way to many students to try and learn anything. You do your pre trip once, skills once maybe twice if your lucky and drive on the road once. Instructors take way to many breaks. It’s a cigarette break every other student. There’s a lot of sitting around doing nothing because there’s so many students.
5 STAR RATING Whoever's looking to obtain their Class A CDL needs to enroll at Advantage Driver Training! The school has one of the highest passing rates in the Chicagoland area! I upgraded my Class B CDL to a Class A in under 4 weeks!! The Instructors here are fantastic! They really take time to help you learn everything you need to know to operate the Commercial Truck safely, which is a huge part of the Trucking Industry! The instructors here really push you to be better each and everyday you're there. But like with anything, if you're willing to put in the effort study and work hard, everything will take care of itself. The owner of Advantage, Jeff, is really a humble guy who will work with you and do everything he can to get you that CDL. If you work during the day that's totally fine, I did too and went to Advantage's night classes! It's hard to find good trucking schools out there, and this is definitely one of them!!!!
