Nope! Will never eat there again! I was Looking for a quick italian beef sandwich and cheese fries. The Italian beef has so much red pepper flakes it was getting stuck between my teeth! I like gardenia peppers So I can put that on my sandwich to my taste! This red pepper flakes was dumped everywhere, and also in the juice dumped, Way to much! I had to throw the juice away! And take the beef off the sandwich and rinse it in a bowl of hot water to eat it! Terrible! The fries had skin which I don't prefer. Terrible sandwich! Not sure how it got so many good reviews! Also ordered a pineapple shake, only tasted like vanilla! On top of all this I think I paid 17.00 for a sandwich fries and a shake, (not a very large shake either) and Which I wouldn't mind paying once in a while if it was good food!

Great local place, food and service were great.
Jody's is delicious and inexpensive. This obviously isn't the place to go for a five star meal, but it serves delicious Chicago style comfort food. It could definitely use more vegetarian options, like most Chicago style places like this. Best Italian beef bar none fries are great too. I just can't get past the Italian beef to anything else!
Hamburger was good. It comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard and pickle. It is big (and tasty). I came here because I saw a picture of the fries which are fresh cut every day. I got the small, but it serves two people. I thought the oil must have been old because the color of the fries was quite dark. I was previously told by someone that use to work at McDonald's that the darker the fries the darker they will be. Look at the picture and you be the judge. I personally was disappointed in the fries, but the burger was good. I will go back and check on the fries again.
The food was good. I remember when this was Judy's and food was good then also. Only problem was the juice from the garlic fries spilled out the container and soaked the bag and the fries were dry but good. Still gave 5 stars because bag could have tipped over in the car. I would go there again
