I woke up early today to be able to drop a van full of clothes off at the local salvation army only to be told to put everything into two small metal containers and not leave anything outside of them. My wife's family are members of the salvation army and she wanted to make sure that our donations were given to the needy and not to a corporation like goodwill where they will keep the profits. Our intentions were good but apparently salvation army is no longer in the business of taking large donations to help others. Also, the location is in poor conditions. I got there 5-10 minutes before their opening hours but, i had to speak thru a speaker phone and let myself been seeing thru a security camera. Now i don't have any other choice but to take a van full of toys and girls clothes to the an evil corporation like goodwill.

Nice staff. Captain Wendy, the head of the Sunday service, is one of the nicest people i've become acquainted with over the years. Cleanliness of the bathrooms is a bit on the lackluster side, but that may be due to timing. You can tell that the employees of this facility truly care for people, as they try to accommodate any reasonable request they're presented with. :]
