The indicator on my dash screen read change timing belt. Because I had a timing belt break in the past, I immediately panicked and sought to get it changed right away. I contacted Jonas Automotive who had very good reviews and talking with them they were very professional. They quoted me a price that was reasonable as well. Because I was afraid to drive the car the distance to the shop, not knowing if the belt would break, I had my car towed to the shop. Other than the warning to change the timing belt and time to change the engine oil, my car was in excellent driving condition. The next day I received a call that the timing belt was change, but they notice oil in the antifreeze reservoir. I will need a flush. Not knowing how the oil began entering the reservoir, I ok’d the flush at cost. I went to pick up my car and the check engine light was on and they recommended not driving it because it needed more work that I would not agree to pay for. I had the car towed to my home and inspected by a licensed mechanic and was told the timing was off, the reservoir was cracked and the engine was damaged.Not only did I pay Jonas for the timing belt, but they also charged me an extra 40 for a credit car charge. Needles to say I now have a car with a new timing belt that I can not drive.
