I came here get an IUD inserted. The doctor and nurse were great and I never felt awkward or uncomfortable despite it being my first gynecologist type of appointment. My body completely rejected it and it was agonizingly painful to put it lightly. However, the doctor and nurse were amazing and went above and beyond while attempting to lower the pain and make me more comfortable. I ended up having it taken out and they gave me a year supply of my current birth control pills instead. I left feeling very taken care of despite the agony of the process.

Staff was extremely helpful. I was nervous and they were able to put me at ease. The doctor is very kind and I had the best experience I've had at an OBGYN. Will definitely return and am considering switching my care over to Planned Parenthood.

I went in for some STD testing and an examination. Everyone was nice enough. In and out quickly. Straight forward and to the point. And the nurse examining me was awesome. Other than being nervous, the whole experience was a lot better than i thought it would be.

Every time I go here it's a pleasant experience. They know me by name which is nice though the only downside is their computers are a bit slow which makes a simple pickup last about ten minutes. Other than that though I'm grateful for what they do.

The staff is extremely rude and too short tempered to be working in such a sensitive field. You constantly feel like you're a problem or an annoyance. Usually the reason young women go here might already be stressful, the staff doesn't need to make it more difficult than it already is. I literally was brought to tears the first time I visited Planned Parenthood. The women behind the desk were yelling at me, and being short and rude anytime I had a sincere question. My insurance was also denied EVEN THOUGH my insurance is listed on the insurance accepted list upon the website. My friend also had a terrible first experience there a week ago. She called, and the lady on the phone treated her like she was ignorant and belittled her the entire time and actually told my friend that \she was too needy\. How professional is that? I have never even received a smile from a staff member while being in the clinic. The radio commercial claims that PP is full of kindness, understanding and caring, but literally there is not an ounce of it inside Joplin, Mo's Planned Parenthood.
