A big joke! No one knows anything in the Joplin office and they just want to give you the runaround. After five phone calls and being told twice someone will return our call we still have heard nothing. When you send documents certified and you’re told they will return them to you certified you expect for them to show up. Apparently they’re lost on someone’s desk or in the mail. And it seems to be impossible to get a hold of someone in supervision because apparently there is none.

Working with them has been an absolute nightmare. If i could give 0 stars i totally would. I ordered my daughter's SSC when she was born and never received it. When i called about it they informed me that they received the order- but had the card destroyed?!? And that i would need to order a new one. Okay well. Then i get back at least 20 different answers from each person that i talk to about what i need to send in. And i cant come in in person (due to covid-which i understand) so i have to send in all of this extremely sensitive information through the mail and then i call to make sure it's processing because i got everything back and want to double check- and am told yes it's processing. I wait a bit and call again because we still haven't received it and the NEW person i get on the call talls me \we have no record of you having ordered a new card\ but sense i said i did to \wait until August 11th and if i dont get it by then i can order a new one\ I. Just. Need. The. Card. So. My. Daughter. Can. Get. Her. Passport. And. Meet. Her. Father. We started this process back in MARCH.

It has been extremely difficult working with the people at this office. I have been trying to get my children's social security cards for three months. I have sent them exactly what they've requested three different times and only receive letters back stating they require something else. Very rude customer service when I call to try to get the issue resolved. This has been a nightmare.
