This is an overdue review. I’ve been rock climbing with both Alex and Stephen and had such amazing times; I couldn’t recommend more. I have also talked to Rick on the phone multiple times and all employees are so friendly, easy to talk to, and... I mean, just people you’d want to hang with for an afternoon. The guides always took the extra step to make sure I was having fun and catered the trip to my abilities and goals. I always felt super safe both with rock climbing in general but also with Covid measures. Again, highly recommend. I’ll be back next year!

We had an amazing day with Tiowa (Ti) courtesy of Joshua tree guides. It was knowledgeable, fun, and an amazing teacher. Ti taught us that climbing is all about 1) safety, 2) efficiency, and 3) speed — and the fun comes when you hit 1, 2, and 3. Well, we had lots of fun today, and learned tons about climbing safely and efficiently. Can’t ask for more than that. Check em out!
I had the most amazing experience with Alex, my Joshua Tree Climbing guide. He was so enthusiastic about climbing. His energy was contagious. He worked so hard setting up multiple pitches for me. He was incredibly good at coaching me through some very difficult pitches. Thanks to his instruction, I progressed more in my climbing ability in those 3 days than at any other time during my 2 years of climbing.
We had our first outdoor climb with our guide Tiowa. It was an amazing experience! In addition Tiowa was very confident in his skill and made us feel very safe on the climbs. My husband and I were truly impressed and thankful for the great experience we had. Go climb!!!
