We had an incredible experience with Mojave Guides! Murphy went above and beyond to give us a fantastic day and tailor it to what we wanted to do as well as our skill level. He had exactly the personality you would want in a stressful situation trying something new and challenging: keeping it super fun, and being patient (I don't know how someone can cheerfully explain over and over every step in tying a knot and every foot and hand hold you should do, but he did) and always encouraging. We did several different climbing routes, but more importantly we were able to see parts of Joshua Tree that we never would have known to look for ourselves while climbing and especially while scrambling. Mojave Guides really gave us the best day ever!

What an amazing fun day! We met with Murphy and he showed us the ropes! He made sure my friend and I were safe, happy and we shared many good laughs! He was super encouraging at times we weren't sure, which helped so much! It was an awesome day and would definitely book with these guys again!

My friend, Kelly, and I did this tour today as total and complete beginners and it was soo much fun! First off, Seth, the owner, is wonderful and so easy to work with! Second, our guide, Murphy, was incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, and hilarious! I was a little apprehensive at first, just cause I didn't really know what to expect, but Murphy explained everything as we went through and I felt comfortable and entirely safe the whole time! Such an amazing experience! I would definitely recommend working with this company

I was connected with Mojave Guides through a climbing buddy of mine that knew the owner (Seth) personally. I was with a group of 6 friends, with varying levels of experience climbing outdoors. We spent two full days with Seth and his guides (Chris and Nate I think) and the experience with Mojave was fantastic from start to finish. Several things that made Mojave stand out: 1.) Flexibility: scheduling the time and day for our climbs was easy and straightforward, we could come out as early or late as we wanted and climb any areas of the park - hassle free and no pressure! 2.) Communication: Seth and I chatted via email for months leading up to the trip - once there we talked mostly via text and it made planning everything very straightforward and transparent. Also they take VenMo! which made payment a breeze. 3.) Knowledgeable: some of our group wanted to learn gear placement and anchor building, while others just wanted to climb as much as possible - Mojave did a great job of making time for all of the varying levels of interest and ability and we felt extremely safe the entire time. 4.) Personal touches: Seth knew we were planning days out unguided along with guided days; he came prepared with advice on climbs and areas of the park that we could handle on our own, which saved us a ton of time. He also gave us an awesome homemade guide with suggestions on places to visit, eat and explore during our stay. Lastly, Seth and his guides are just great people - they obviously enjoy what they do and strive to create a unique and fun experience for their customers. Cannot recommend them enough.
