Great tour! Goes by quick and lasts about an hour. Our well behaved pup was welcome (dog friendly) and shout out to Christy for being a great guide! 15 per adult, a must see when visiting Julian!

It's a fun trip for the whole family. Not really recommend it to young children. My 4 years old son just wanted to kick dirt for the entire tour. Older children would have a whole lot of fun because you'd walk through the same tunnels the miners worked. The admission fee is totally reasonable and the guide is quite knowledge too. The gift shop also has interesting items for sale. I recommend it for your next trip to Julian.

Wanted to take the tour I looked up the price online it said 10.00 we get there and the lady says 15 a person, I said oh I thought it was 10 she said where did you see that I said on your website she says can you pull it up because I removed that price on there my self so I said sure I pull it up and show her she says what site is that I said yours she looks and says oh I missed that but its still 15 a person so we said no thanks we left.. they missed out on 4 adult tours instead of even trying to compromise she let's us leave I guess they don't need business that bad

Eagle Mine is not only a fun and interesting place to learn about California History, the people running it couldn’t have been nicer! We visited yesterday with my 93-year-old Mother. We were greeted with friendly smiles and treated like honored guests. One staff member even offered to stay up-top and visit with my mom while my husband and I toured the mine. We didn’t take her up on this, as we have been down the mine before and on this visit just chose to wander around the property and look at all the cool antique mining and farming equipment. We also enjoyed the gift shop with its collection of unique jewelry, books and doo-dads. As we left, I felt badly as I realized that we hadn’t actually given the place any business even though they graciously allowed us the use of their very clean restrooms, carried a chair across the grounds specifically for my mom to sit on, took several pictures of us and repeatedly checked to see if we needed any help. I hope that letting everyone know about this wonderful place and its lovely staff, helps make up for that by bringing The Eagle Mine more visitors. We will definitely be back and will bring kids, grandkids and friends to experience this tiny step back into California History. Thank you Eagle Mine for your kindness. PS – I don’t think I left a review from three years ago when my husband and I toured the mine, but that was a great experience as well. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I took 2 of our grandchildren to visit Eagles Nest Gold Mine today. The weather was perfect for November 1st. We had the best time! I was sad to hear that they spent so much money and time to make a haunted mine for Halloween and nobody came! All the props were still there and we really enjoyed them. The only bummer was that we didn't get to keep the gold we panned! But I understand since the buy it and bring it in for us to enjoy! A great time for all. Daniel was a hoot!!
