I took my son who is 5 yo and was in bad need of a haircut. We walked in and were greeted immediately. The owner ended up cutting my sons hair. It looks amazing! I am so pleased with the styling. They had extra touches to make it more comfortable for my son and all of the employees were so friendly. It didnt take long and my son was excited about his cool cut. I recommend this place to anyone. They also had new equipment and the shop was very clean.

So not having a regular stylist is a pain...you ask friends and do searches. My search showed Julie's to have good reviews. Then I saw how long the shop has been in Hamilton and figured that no place would be open that length of time in a small town without being good! So I took a deep breath and made my appointment for a perm! Since I am having wrist surgery next week I needed to do something with my wonky hair so I could wash and wear! Trisha took the time to ask about my past experiences with perms, and noticed how I had my hair done with curled under bangs. She also assured me when she rolled she would take into account the colic in the back that tends to make my hair split. She had me look at photos to see how tight I wanted the curl. She took her time rolling all the while listening to me ramble on...which I tend to do!LOL! Since I had already had my hair trimmed within the last 4 weeks she suggested I wait since I am trying to keep some length. Everyone in was very nice and greeted me..a stranger with smiles. It didn't take me long to feel comfortable there. Lastly, the price...not the 100 that so many charge! 65 and the tip.

Would not recommend if you’re a guy who has short hair. I will not say the name, but the woman who cut my hair didn’t have a clue how to use a razor. The entire back and sides are all uneven so I will be going to a barber to fix them. Otherwise, very friendly staff.

I've gone to Brenda twice and she does an excellent job. The other ladies seem great as well, but I haven't had them cut my hair yet! :)
