Because of his extensive background in music, marketing, and project management, Zach decided to turn Catmandu into a fully fledged digital media company that specializes in sonic branding and audio visual production. Audio has been a part of marketing strategies for decades but as of the past few years, its significance and omnipresence have drastically increased. Not only did streaming single handedly bring back the record industry, but advents in artificial intelligence have created entirely new mediums of exchange in the forms of Alexa, Siri, Google Assistant, Samsung Bixby, and many more smart devices within the internet of things. While these devices show great progress, think of them as the toddler versions of themselves. Imagine their potential as the adult or even teenage versions of themselves. Fields such as marketing and entertainment are of course being impacted by these technologies but imagine what could be done in fields such as medicine and transportation. Audio is ingratiating itself into our culture unlike ever before and the world's most prosperous and influential companies allot ungodly amounts of money into its research and development. Catmandu seeks to operate and innovate at the frontiers of this sonic revolution. We're here to make you digitally visible and to produce a sonic branding palette unique to your company. This palette can be used for commercials, background music, UX/UI interfaces, entrance music at a speaking engagement, in-store soundtracks, live sound installations, and marketing purposes, etc. Catmandu is currently based in Juneau, Alaska but it operates remotely and in a freelance fashion.
