Do not ever buy anything from this junkyard. I bought a replacement engine (2003 4.0, 136k miles, VIN 242-S, 900) for a Jeep I purchased with a bent rod. Dexter, the guy who owns/runs the place, guaranteed me it \RAN GREAT\ (said it just like that). He also said it was running the week prior and he had just pulled it. Turns out there was rust in the #1 and #2 cylinders, and there was alot of it. There is no way it sat for a week, it must have sat for at least a year with water in those cylinders to build up that much rust. Regardless, water shouldn't have gotten in the engine whatsoever (if I had cranked it with that water in there, I would have TWO engines with bent rods). What should have been a simple longblock engine swap became a tedious job. Had to pull the head, hone the cylinders, and replace pistons/rings. I had to pretty much rebuild the engine, and it cost me around 1400 all together in the end. For 1400, I could have gotten a longblock already FULLY rebuilt. Dexter sold me a piece of s*** motor, lied about every fact of it, and refused to cover any repair costs, saying that if I returned it he would fix it on his dime and that there was no way he was refunding me. Like I said, he lied about everything else (such as the \RAN GREAT last week\), no way he was getting his hands on it to swap it with a super high mileage engine or clean the rust out and say all done and shrug his shoulders when I put it all together and it burnt oil like a furnace. He knew I was a student and didn't have any money, and pretty much said f*** you by selling me that engine. THINK TWICE before you buy anything here more sophisticated than an ashtray. I now have one engine that I paid way too much for, and another one with a bent rod. I could have had the original one rebuilt, including the head, at a local shop (R&R machine shop) for 1200 with all new everything.
