Great nature trail in Jupiter on the preserved dunes. Separate paths lead to different habitats; Sand pine, scrub lowlands and mangrove. The .2 mile trail to the water lookout is boardwalk and wheelchair accessible. The rest of the trails are sand. Crested flycatcher, red shouldered hawk and Osprey are seen here. Today we spotted a lively Male Downy Woodpecker.

Great for running, mostly flat and ground is mostly sand not dirt so not slippery. There’s a short trail that is paved for wheelchair access that’ll take u to the gazebo. Do bring water and sunglasses as the white sand reflects the sun and it can get extremely hot during the day.
We just walked the trails at Jupiter Ridge. A wonderful landscape of sand dunes, cacti, saw palmetto palms and sea grape. The trails lead to the Loxahatchee River, which is beautiful.
Small but nice stop to stretch the legs.. paved trail as well as some sand trails. Paved trail is roughly 1 mile to end and back. While there is no public restrooms, I did see a portable john on site.
Great little spot for nature walks. A few separate paths. I think the longest one is just over a mile. Some lead to the water. Small parking lot and not dog friendly.
