I lived in Glen Avon part time from 1979-1986. I moved to AZ with my mom and never heard of this or a fund until recently. I have multiple health issues and would like to talk to someone. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated. Thank you

Actually, Stringfellow was the name of the gentleman that owned the dump site up through the 1970's. He allowed local machining and aerospace industry to dump all of their coolants, solvents and chemical plating waste products in large \evaporation ponds\. The ponds had poor containment and as a result, contaminated the local ground water. EPA still working today to clean it up.

I lived on Avon St. In Glen Avon 1982 to 1983 and the neighborhood was delivered bottled water bc of these acid pits. Apparently in 1938 gold was discovered (ILO oil) and in the 50's personnel poured acid into the drill point (to break up the gold ) adjacent to a concrete rock quarry? Filled with gold? myself and my family were living in this environment
