How can I put this. I'm trying to be kind here but it is hard. The two stars are one from each of us. Prepare to bring you expectations down a couple of notches; not that it's totally bad. The food was decent bar-food, wait staff was kind, the band was good, but the atmosphere and duck-tapped seats were a little to be desired. The band was playing and a patron was up and dancing close to a table of three ladies. He made his way around the room and ended up at our table. He proceeded to pull his face mask forward so that he could talk to us over the music, and opened his shopping bag that he had near by and proceeded to sell us his deodorant and shampoo... really. Normally I don't have a problem with that but he was right over our food on the table! (There goes that meal). He danced around again over by the ladies and they upped and left. He then proceeded back to our table and tried to sit down with us. Well that was enough and I let him know it... as polite as I could. I will give it a try again,... only if my friends want to go there.

6.Ordered from JV Restaurant via Grubhub. Ordered Crab Sliders with Coleslaw with a side of Onion Rings. Driver got to me within a reasonable amount of time and the food was well protected. I was surprised to see only TWO Crab Sliders but there was a ton of Onion Rings and the Coleslaw was pretty good. So five out of five.

They have remolded and the place looks great....good food but best of all is the bands that play there......Kreek Water Band is a great band!!!

Great place to see music music practically every night of the week. The food is good, and the kitchen is open late. They don't have beer on tap, which is a negative, but they do have a pretty good selection of beer in cans and bottles. I found stuff I was happy with.

This is the best place in the entire DC area to relax, listen to really talented musicians, hear amazing singers and dance. It is the real deal! The staff are down to earth Americans. They make you feel comfortable if you are on your own, on a date, with your family, having a birthday or with your motorcycle gang. This place has been around since the 1940’s. There is a reason it has been going strong since 1940!!! Best live music, cool staff, chill atmosphere and value for your money every time. Real talent!!! Miss all you guys, Nanette
