Amazing experience with pilot Pete! We saw waterfalls, valleys, sea cliffs, Coral reefs and so much more. Pete handled the aircraft well making the journey comfortable! I'd definitely recommend for the views of places that one can't typically access via land.

Great tour! Mike S was our pilot and he was phenomenal. It was a safe, comfortable ride. The views are spectacular. Go ahead and just book.

Worth more than any of the other tours. We got to see whales because it was whale season. We bought a video to have to look at for posterity. Cost is higher than some tours but to out family it was worth it. The ticketing agency however is a must avoid. Go thru them directly if you can. The Blue Hawaii ticketing and adventures agency will often take cancelled tour money from tourists and not refund it for weeks. Don't get them confused. The helicopter people are great and nice people. Ended up being the only tour we enjoyed the entire trip.

Epic experience! The best way to explore Maui fast. Highly recommend. This is the type of the experience you’ll remember on your deathbed. People who leave a 4-star review amaze me... what can you possibly not like on a helicopter tour?!

Rick was our pilot on one of the coolest adventures ever. We've never been in a helicopter till that day. The briefing and information ahead of time was thorough and it was clear safety was a priority. Everyone was friendly and professional. The tour was excellent, we visited a lot of sites around the island. From whales to volcanic craters to rain forests and spectacular waterfalls. Rick was an excellent tour guide and so knowledgeable. Tomorrow on the trip to Hana we are going to take his advice and hike the Pipiwai Trail. On our flight we did have some turbulence due to strong winds but Rick kept us informed of what was happening which made for a very casual and fun experience. Thank you for a great time!

I'm happy with my decision to fly with Blue Hawaiian. I felt safe and the choppers certainly look modern. My pilot was Eric. Former military pilot. Cool guy, very knowledgeable in the topography and Maui's cultural history. This amplified the entire experience. I flew (and recommend) the Maui Spectacular with the landing on the slopes of Haleakalā. The view at the landing spot overlooks Molokini. It left me speechless and I marveled at how quiet and serene it was. Pros & cons (leading to only 4/5 stars): PROS: --Coffee and water bottles before departure. --Very friendly staff. --Could easily see and identity whales. --Repeat flier discount. CONS: --One of the rules outlined on the ticket was "dark colored clothing." I wish they enforced this as the front right passenger wore a bright red dress which reflected brilliantly in both the front and side windows. --Front seats are certainly best followed by rear left as the chopper primarily circles the island counterclockwise. I was assigned rear right meaning I spent most of the flight looking across the cabin and out the opposite side window. My neck was sore by the end from craning so much. The pilot did make sure to spin around at the best waterfalls as well as the Haleakalā summit so I could have an unobstructed view but it was tricky catching most of the smaller falls. --Pay to park. I mean, c'mon. Really? There's a dirt field right next to it that appears to be the employee lot. No pay parking there. --62.50 for the video of your flight. Yeah, hard pass.

An amazing way to see Hawaii! Staff was friendly and courteous only thing that I wish could be different was sometimes not getting the greatest view when circling the island from one side. Overall a great time and I still give it 5 ️!

Pilot was great, I did upchuck on the last part but we had front seats, only 4 onboard. Saw whales, had pretty good weather at 11am, our ride was running late, but actually very smooth and I did take dramamine. Hint: don't eat breakfast before your flight. We did Molokai & W. Maui a once in a lifetime trip, worth it.
