My husband and I had a great time with HST windsurfing. Patti was easy to book and communicate with. Our instructor PJ was overall great. We learned a lot of helpful tips and are finally on our way to becoming better windsurfers.

Awesome experience taking lessons with this company! My instructor Stuart was super knowledgeable, patient, personable and helpful! Pattie was helpful with organizing the lessons appropriately to the wind and waves. I had 4 lessons and was able to get up and ride for periods at the end of day 3! Would highly recommend using this company!

The booking process was easy and Patti was truly accommodating. Chloe, our instructor was super sweet and after I shared what I had learned (and didn’t learn) on my last beginner’s class 12 years ago, she gave me specific pointers to help out. My only tip is to perhaps wear the water shoes they offer (free) as there are some scattered rocks in the shallow part of the cove. They may help and if they don’t, you can always take them off!

My instructor, Chloe was great. As a beginner windsurfer she got me right into working on turning ...jibbing and tacking...it was rather gusty so some of her instruction was verbal...but she was very articulate in the steps of turning....cant wait to get back home to Camano Island to work on what Chloe has taught me THANKS!!

HST has a great offering for the island of Maui, both for visitors and locals. They have great surf, standup paddle, kitesurf and windsurf lessons available for all levels. Great lessons with Doug. All the lessons I looked at are a bit expensive as they are 1:1. HST was a bit cheaper. But they do a great job of getting you up and running on a kite.

Great windsurfing lessons and huge thanks to Rex and Jack for teaching me how to windsurf! I've had 3 lessons now, and tried a smaller board and I already feel really confident in the water and how to control the sail; I'm able to turn in the wind and keep my balance on the board! I can definitely reccommend HST Windsurfing & Kitesurfing School for everyone who want's to learn how to windsurf and be able to stay on the board with only a couple of lessons! Thank you!

Great people to get lessons from, at the Mecca of windsurfing. My instructor Neil is a very cool lad. He is very patient and friendly, he also tests gear for professional companies.
