WOW... I've never been in a helicopter before and if it's going to be your first time come to this company.. they have an amazing reputation and clearly they've earned it... the pilot was very attentive... he understood this was my first time did not belittle me and checked with me to see if the turns he was making in a helicopter were too much for me to handle... great energy level...enthusiastic knows the islands and really took the time to show us the whales even though this time of year it can be challenging to see any...would so recommend this place and will come back here for sure!

This was easily the coolest thing I have ever done in life. If you're on the fence about the cost, just forget about it. I would pay double just to experience that for the first time again. Our pilot Jake was awesome! He knew so many facts about the land and history. The ambience with the music playing is spot on too. They played the Jurrasic theme song and even Dave Matthew's. The music just made the experience that much better. We saw the crater of two volcanoes, so many waterfalls, the unfathomable sea cliffs, amazing coral reefs on Molokai, and tons of whales. So much packed into the hour flight but not rushed at all. Jake did a couple turns in a few of the spots so everybody could get a good look. I think I was either smiling or had my mouth hanging wide open the whole time. The coolest thing ever and we had about as perfect weather as you can get.
What an amazing experience! The whole operation was very professional, everything was organized, clean and timely, and Jake our pilot was a great host. Stopping in the rain forest was so much more enjoyable than I anticipated. It's not touristy at all (which I was expecting) and the location is just amazing. I honestly really wanted to see Haleakala, but it seems there are restrictions on flying over the national park (just FYI for those looking).
This was amazing!!! Jake was an incredible pilot. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience. Stopping in the middle of the jungle was a one of a kind experience. They even had umbrellas for us when it rained. We were able to also see whales while flying over the ocean. Maverick has a great safety reputation and I definitely wouldn’t feel as comfortable flying with anyone else. 10/10 recommend and definitely ask for Jake if you can!

Incredible experience! Clean, well kept helicopters. They were conscientious and informative...very professional. I felt incredibly safe, and the views were breathtaking! Our pilot was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Highly recommend!
This is definitely MUST DO trip when on Maui. We used to fly with Maverick Helicopters in Vegas, now on Maui, and the professionalism of this company is TOP, so as their Eurocopter helicopters made specifically for tourism so your experience is better then in any other company whatsoever. Best pilots. Best value. Best emotions.
The experience was wonderful! We saw more of the island in an hr flight than we could driving. The sites were breath taking. Our pilot (Jake) was very knowledgeable about both islands and the ocean. We made several Uturns to see the whales as well as the waterfalls! I highly recommend doing a helicopter tour in Mauia
