We arrived at the parking lot, searched for a sign regarding parking rules in the parking lot, we found a sign that it is permissible to park for up to two hours. we did not find another signage about the parking. five minutes after we parked, we had already registered a report, they wroth there that they see us walking. I don't understand why they couldn't tell us not to park there and they hurry to gave us a 50 fine. We want to appeal. on the phone They were told to register an email, we sent an email and received a message that we will receive a reply within three business days and have been waiting since. It's been ten days without an answer. Very low level of service. And it's a pity that this is how tourists are treated ... misunderstood signage and instead of alerting they rushing to register a fine.

Avoid this parking lot and any lot owned by Diamond Parking! We where there for a luau and the parking lot was so full, that they park us and several other people in non parking spots. I returned 3 hours later and our drivers window was busted out there was nothing in the car. Clearly someone was mad by where are car was parked and they couldn’t get through! Diamond Parking refuses to take responsibility even though there attendant directed us where to park. Update: Diamond Parking does own a parking lot with a Hotel that has a Luau. Your corporate office doesn’t dispute owning a parking lot.

I must say that I do not think paid parking is the best thing since sliced bread but I can honestly say that I was utmost surprised that this parking company has exceptional customer service. I had a bad experience finding parking in Kailua-Kona to visit the shops along the main drive. I found this parking lot on the corner near the hale halewai building and I parked and paid for only two hours. I took two hours and 38 minutes and was ticketed. I called the number on the ticket and they allowed me to pay the remainder overtime for parking. I was grateful and the customer service lady was chipper even recommended us to a very good restaurant in the area. I didn't have to put up a fight to pay the time that I overparked. Most retailers sell items this company sells parking. go figure.

My own personal opinion- it’s real estate it has a value. Parking is in high demand in that area. I don't understand why people complain. There's a solution for that. Just don't park there. Find parking elsewhere. I'd rather pay for the convenience if it is paid parking and the places that don't have paid parking but Diamond issues violations- obviously the people parking there have no reason to park there unless they are doing business there. I parked my car at Starbucks on Henry Street. I didn't realize it was timed parking and my car was towed. I was furious, but I realized that I was in the wrong, and I did take up a parking spot that a customer who was doing business there needed.

I parked and thought we would pay after so when I got back to my car I had a parking ticket. I called the office and spoke to Jazmin who only charged me what was due. Clearly their customer service was great and that's how I would have handled the same situation. They could have just charged me the full 40 which is my reason for giving them 5 stars. I'm sure I will read the signs and pay for parking in advance next time.

I was parked at Alii Unset on Saturday 6/9/18, my friend took me out for breakfast. I pulled in about 8:55am and when I returned from breakfast I had received a ticket at 9:06am. Apparently their attendant assumed that I had arrived earlier for the parade. I then took a photo of the ticket and my clock in my car, showing I took the photo at 10:10am. I called the Seattle number and was told that I had to deal with the Kona Office, I then talked with a Jasmine who said she was the manager and that I need to provide a copy of the breakfast receipt or take it down to the restaurant. I am appalled at this service, I was parked there for less than 10 minutes received a ticket and they can't go my my photo. There attendant assumed that I was there earlier for the parade, if they were to look at the photo I took they could clearly see I left at 10:10am. This company is a joke. Needless to say I will make sure that I keep my receipts however, it was my friend that paid for breakfast.

100 Ticket for thirty minutes over allowed parking time!! Outrageous, why can’t we just pay for more time! Stupid.

Good parking area if you go to Kona Inn or Farmers Market. The rates were high but I guess that's what we pay for convenience Needs to update lighting in evening
