Beautiful place, not ideal for beach. Way too rocky but you can seat and enjoy the wonder and meditate. Less than 100 feet from here is a beach area and park and dont forget to visit the sea horse farm right here.

Very educational experience, learn a lot about this amazing creature...fun for the whole family...I gave four stars because the tour was a bit pricey in my opinion..,
This is a MUST do on the activities list while on the Big Island of Hawaii!! Proceeds... go to the operations of this great Seahorse breeding farm. Best time learning all about the world's Sea Horses. Mahalo ....to all the staff !
I was very excited about this experience until the crazy lady Karen or carol (the owner and manager) of this farm spoke to my 5 year old and my elderly grandparents rudely. She has no patience for kids and no sense of respect for elderly. In addition to being rude, she shouted at my child when he and my grandparents were trying to hold the seahorse like everyone else. I encourage everyone with children to ditch this place until the manger learns to tolerate children and show love and kindness to elderly folks. What a frustrated woman. Although I support the cause but I will never go back to this place again.
This company is point blank dishonest! We've placed two orders for seahorses from them. Both orders were for two pairs of ponies. The 1st order was fine, but the second was a hot mess. We order two pairs of ponies via their website. The description was a little vague so we reached out to their customer service and confirmed in writing that we would receive 2 pairs for a total of 4 ponies. When the order arrived it was one pair totaling 2 ponies. The 1st response that we got was that they would ship us the missing ponies the following week. The next day we got another response stating that we only ordered two and they would do nothing to fix it. We've gone back and forth with them even sending them their own response stating that we would get 4 ponies, to which we were called confused. Stay away from this company! They are point blank liars and thieves!
We were in the same group as the person who commented about the owner speaking rudely to her son and her grandparents. I agree, the owner seriously had an attitude and behavior problem. It was great to look at Seahorses but the place is lacking in customer service.
This was a complete waste of time and money in my opinion. You are being told and shown how this organization has domesticated sea horses. Funding their farm so they can sell these sea horses to aquarium owners around the world. Its like a puppy mill for sea horses. My daughter got nothing out of it and was a complete waste of time and money. Probably the low point of our trip so far. Not sure how people can rate this so high and why they charge so much for so little. Ill go to my local aquarium shop or zoo for the same experience.
Short tour. Lots of info as to what they do & why. Almost no info on positive results & benefits. You do get to hold a seahorse. With a 64 ticket price, not really worth it.
