Pretty cool building at the heart of downtown with a decent layout. Quite a free empty store front unfortunately but the food court inside of it is nice piece.
Awesome still. Need more stores now with all the new lofts.
Went there for the specific purpose to visit Palmer's deli on the second floor. It's my favorite Palmer's location in Des Moines. Had the number 3 club sandwich on wheat, and a bowl of clam chowder. Excellent lunch experience!
Great for winter, just wish there were more stores, but with all the new kind of minions and apartments being built I'm sure it will improve. So y'all get out there and support those stores there there some more will come. I'm sure all you people moving downtown will realize what a necessity and benefit it will be to you. So let's hope for five stars in the future
Great place for local eats during lunch! It's accessable through the sky walks and very close to my work making hot summer days and icy winter days bearable. While the food is great, there are still many vacant spaces which is a bit disappointing but understandable as the only people who seem to explore the Kaleidoscope are working people dropping by for lunch.
Great place in town to meet for lunch. So many shops and choices, as well a nice open airy feeling. Always good for a walk on the cold or hot days when you can go from building to building on the skywalk. Staff always seems to keep the area clean, which is no small task.
I live downtown so it matters to me what is available here and when. Most of the lunch vendors are only open between about 11 am and 2 pm, M -F. The shops are only open the same. Only Burger King is open on weekends. It's a good place to walk for exercise most of the time, but no more. Such wasted potential as more of us move downtown.
