Great place to shop for fresh produce. KC Soda shop has a large assortment of fun sodas, but the guy behind the counter is always rude. The Blue Nile Cafe is there, it's a wonderful place that serves Authentic Ethiopian Cuisine. Everything is excellent, try the sample plater... its awesome!
Pretty much everything was shut down/closed in winter. But I can imagine how the city market will be bustling with activities during the summer with the middle section with lots of shops open and vendors outside. I am sure it will become a very lively place. Parking could become an issue . We came here for a visit - enjoyed walking through the area very much. Lots of diversity, tons of eclectic and multi cultural food options abound in this place.

This is perhaps the best market I have ever been to. Better, even than the market in Seattle! The farmers market had beautiful selections of fruit and vegetables. There we two mediterranean shops with a bounty of pungent spices for cooking and baking.
