I had electrolysis done at his office by Tina Rodrigues. It left deep visible scars and a hole in my chin and discoloration. I mention to Tina I thought it might be leaving scars and she ignored me. She asked me several times if there were small blisters after treatment and I told her yes. She said that was supposed to happen, but I later read up on this, and what I read said if there are blisters the needle is too hot. I attended a lunch and learn and won some free dysport. When I had my appointment with Dr. Barthouse, I showed him my chin that was scarred from his technician. He said coldly, “electrolysis is supposed to leave scars.” I kid you not! Those were his exact words. Then he injected the dysport carelessly and quickly around my mouth and chin. I could not chew or eat for 3 months without biting my lips. I called the office and he callously said, “ there is nothing I can do. I did not put much in and it will wear off in a few weeks.” No, my mouth was crooked and I had to hold my lips with my finger to take a bite of anything and that lasted a full three months. It almost seemed these thing were done purposely. You don’t go to a plastic surgeon and expect to be scarred. You know, they could have fixed it with the laser, but they offered no remedy or refund. I never returned and I would not recommend Tina Rodriguez or Doctor Barthouse. I’d say Run! Electrolysis is not supposed to leave scars, and dysport is not supposed to paralyze your month and make your face crooked for months. Utterly unprofessional and truly careless with my skin that was previously almost flawless.

Dr. Barnthouse is an extremely professional skilled plastic surgeon. I am a big woman close to my retirement age and have always had a hanging tummy that I just could not get rid of. I decided to have a tummy tuck procedure done. Procedure went great and I now have the flat tummy I have always wanted. I would highly recommend him to anyone no matter what size you are he will make you look and feel beautiful.
