Spoke with three representatives to get my water turned on. One lady was just flat out rude insisting I was lying. I know no one one my doorbell. I have a Ring doorbell so it goes to my phone. It's been couple weeks and they haven't fixed it. What's worse is they still couldn't turn it back on. What a joke.

Horrible.... Waited a month after submitting a request before having to call them again two weeks later.... had to submit the same request about this same hole thats been opening up time and time again with running water underneath it, last week our pipes froze at the connection because of this... after all that... this is what they come out and do... the same thing they did last time... fill it with dirt... i can literally see the dirt crumbling and falling back into this hole, this was done today at some point while i was at work... I come home to see this hole already reopened... they obviously didnt do anything about the rest of the issue i reported as well, causing this... smdh... and this is supposed to represent the kansas city area....

Our used services went from 3000 gallons to 20,000 gallons in one month of service. The water department said the meter read this information over a 4 day span. Spoke to a rude customer service manager by the name of Sharika who stated “you are one of the many who don’t agree with their bill”.....she also went on to say they have data and it can’t be inaccurate because meters don’t break and fix themselves. I’ve never had to speak to the Water Dept. staff because I pay online but I can’t believe how they talk to the customers! Moreover, they city needs to look into this and offer better services. ****Update**** the end of 2020 we were contacted about a “faulty meter and needed a replacement/ repair.” KC Water never attempted to correct their error!

If I could give negative star rating I defiantly would! They have horrible customer service and the way they treat their customers over the phone and take no fault in their own mistakes, but quick to fault the customer is appalling! I guess you don't have to have superior customer service if they know that the customers, they serve have NO choice but to deal with them! They are going to get revenue no matter what due to they have no competition. If I had an alternative water service company, I could transfer my business to, I surely would. They had me pay a security deposit again even though I transferred my service. Then for months they didn't activate my service and I had to call them to let them be aware of their mistake. They couldn't offer me a reasonable payment plan besides pay 50% of my bill and the rest dispersed over some months. 50% off is not reasonable at all and then gave me attitude because of their error. If you have to deal with them as a water company...RUN!! If I didn't recently purchase my home...I would move away from this company's radius so I wouldn't have to deal with them!!
