KCGameOn

KCGameOn is located in Kansas City, United States on Walker Rd. KCGameOn is rated 3 out of 5 in the category computer games in United States. KCGameOn started as a LAN (Local Area Network) party. We are now a nonprofit that runs a gaming convention in Kansas City once a year. We also help connect high school teams with each other and potential colleges. We strive to provide students options for going pro, casting or just get a degree. Yes we do run esports events as well as play casual games. We are a community event where we bring together different communities across the midwest. We basically started out as a bunch of gamers who pack up their computers, (BYOC = Bring your own computer), set it up in a room with many other gamers, plug into a network connection, and play games until their eyes bleed. Both men and women attend our LANs, some LANs include tournaments in which the winner may win a prize. Usually there is food provided. Over the last few years we have expanded our event to encompass all forms of gaming - PC, Console, Boardgames, Card games and FPV Drone Racing. Since we are all professionals in the business world we found that people were asking us for advise on careers in gaming or computers. We also were asked how does a gamer go pro. This lead us to helping connect students with local coaches or communities as well as helping them learn what is possible as careers.
