I really like my Dr. He's clear, concise, outlines a clear treatment plan and I am doing better. But the office.OMG. what a mess. I just went to the lab (a separate co) to get blood drawn. No orders. I was at the dr.'s office last week and we discussed where I would be going. It's not as though I just showed up without telling anyone where I was going. This is just the latest in a series of poor office management with this practice. I hate to start over with another physician but I can't deal with this mess anymore.

Went in for my scheduled vasectomy, and had already taken the prescriptions given to me for pain. Got up to the desk and was told that my appointment had been rescheduled and that they had left me a voicemail. Not sure why they would reschedule a surgery without first confirming that I actually know about it....and maybe give me a choice? Maybe the date they chose wasn't going to work for me? Either way, not good when I've taken medication, taken the day off from work, and travelled there only to be told that they can't perform the surgery. Not everyone listens to their voicemails these days. I've had doctor's office call back a second time if I don't recognize the number and don't answer the first. I called back to make an appointment with a different location/doctor, and the lady was very defensive and not helpful at all, so I'm going to find somewhere else. I'm not going to have surgery performed at a place that shows me so little respect or concern.
Dr. Are great Office management not so much. They need someone to reevaluate their systems. Horrible!
Absolutely the most unorganized medical office I have ever called. Getting them to verify insurance takes a lifetime (but really a 5 minute call or web search). Asking to know how far out the doctor is scheduled, before paying for a procedure, is like asking them to break an arm. The girl dealing with insurance, Brianna/Rihanna or something of that sort needs to pipe down with the valley girl talk. She was incredibly rude... so I gave her a taste of her own medicine! I would never speak to any customer or patient like she does. Shocking she has a job.
I do NOT recommend going to KCUC in NKC. This office is the most unorganized office I have ever been to. We have had 2 appointments here and both were terrible. Long waits on the phone, long wait for an appt, long wait to get a call back, long wait in the lobby...2nd appointment was over an hour and they frequently reschedule appts due to their own schedule conflicts. The waiting room was full of other patients with some complaining about their appts getting rescheduled several times and long waits as well. Office staff doesn't seem to care. Good luck trying to get a call back from the nurse. One time they called us back several days later and another time not at all! They really need to do some restructuring so they can provide adequate healthcare. We ended up having to go back to our Primary doctor for follow up treatment and I definitely let him know how terrible this office is.
