I went into Planters with moderate expectations, but was completely blown away. First, the service was impeccable. I asked a lot of questions about seeds and planting for the upcoming year and I never felt as though they were put out by my questions. Knowledgeable staff guided and directed me for my situation. And the variety - wow. Be warned, there are some seed varieties that may not be available right now, but they make sure to let you know beforehand. They also have a LOT of varieties of spices in bulk. I did not expect that and now I'm excited to return to get some bull spices that we are missing!

Great place to buy seeds, spices and stuff for your garden. The staff are always helpful and the stores big. Go in and look around, ask year long, you won't be disappointed.

This is one of the best places in Kansas City to get spices, or gardening, equipment. Their spices are always fresh, and well-priced. Everyone is always very willing to help and very friendly. I drive from all the way across town just to go here.
