This store is adorable. What most impressed me was the consistency of their sustainability philosophy. It's humbly constructed and simply decorated: no frills but sleek and modern. All the employees I've met use and love the products they sell and they're always willing to share their opinions and advice. You bring your own containers, buy one of the glass bottles they sell, or use one of the donated containers other patrons have dropped off. When you price compare, buying from Soap Refill Station is usually comparable or cheaper. This isn't always the case, but to me, any extra cost is worth it because I'm reducing waste. Highly recommend.

I am SO happy they brought their business to KC! Reducing plastic waste wherever I can is very important and the products they offer are safe for my family's delicate/sensitive skin! Their essential oil bar is awesome too! Thank you SOAP! Saving money saving the planet WIN!!

SOAP Refill makes it so easy to reduce your waste while still getting quality cleaning products. I refill a lot of products with them but some of my favorites are their dishwasher detergent, sunscreen, body wash, floss, and laundry detergent! And they make it easy if you ever forget your containers, you can buy some quality glass containers or grab a couple of their donated plastic recyclables.

I've been in twice now and came unprepared both times, but they have a bin of clean containers to use if you've forgotten one. They have you sanitize your hands before you start browsing, and everyone I've encountered is spectacularly helpful. I went to refill a container if laundry detergent and they were very knowledgeable about scents, amount to use, and even helped me with the complicated-looking crank without making me feel bad for not knowing how to use it. The products have all been very high quality and are affordable!! I am very grateful to have found them, and I will be back (with my own container next time, I promise)!

Every product I’ve used is as good or better than supermarket counterparts. Customer service is top tier, and they strike the perfect balance between being helpful and letting you browse quietly. It is obvious that packaging reduction and being eco-conscious are real priorities, not a trend. What a superb establishment!

We love Soap KC! They have a wide variety of home and body cleaning products. The shop keepers are lovely and there are always spare bottles around if you want to sample different things.

KC is so lucky to have this place. Bulk cleaning supplies, personal care, and beauty products that are eco friendly. You can bring your own containers or reuse some of theirs that have been donated to get bulk products. The pricing and system is easy to understand but the staff is also super helpful and will guide you through the process or answer questions. The prices are good. My new favorite shop.

Love this place. The concept is simple, and that's the magic. Very low-key and relaxed atmosphere. Now, this is the only place I go for kitchen and bathroom soap.
