The cutest little yarn shop! Can’t believe it took me so long to visit. The staff working were very helpful and friendly! It’s nice chatting with other folks who love knitting. I also love their commitment to social justice, it means a lot to me. I can’t wait for the pandemic to get under control so I can attend some of their events!

The most woke yarn shop and I've been to yarn shops all over the country. . They've got yarn from near (like dyed locally) and far (like other countries). They also have notions, other crafts, cute souvenirs of Kansas City at various price points. Friendly, patient, eager, inclusive staff. They also give you space when you're just looking, letting you take time to browse. Yarn Social has made a great effort in getting their online shop up and running for distant-shopping, and they do online pickup as well as curbside pickup. Right now you can also book a video-time with a staff member to \shop\ virtually which really goes a long way towards what I love about shopping with a local independent store instead of online.
