Painted Eucalyptus trees are nice to look at. I went after a recent rain so it was a bit muddy. Not the parks fault, just weather doing its thing.

This review is a little late coming considering I'm back in the great white north. Back to project at hand this site is a nice drive to an area that I'm pretty sure not many tourist visit but if want to see some painted eucalyptus trees this where you find them.
Cool mountain air, tree-lined roads and large grassy fields offer a refreshing change from the sunny and warm beach air. The Keahua Arboretum is planted with native and introduced plants by the University of Hawaii and is used as an outdoor classroom for students and visitors. Cool off in the cold mountain spring water and enjoy lunch at one of the numerous picnic sites scattered throughout the park.
Very cool almost secret feeling place, Definitey worth a stop. Bugs were not bad bit some bug spray wouldn't hurt.
This is a wild place. There is no upkeep. All natural.
It's so beautiful there
Beautiful park, with Rainbow Eucalyptus trees. I had never even heard of these before. There is a river nearby. Not much to do other than a little walking and maybe play in the river. A few places to have a lunch. It is a bit of a drive, even for Kauai...
Rainbow eucalyptus trees are beautiful, and are the first thing on display. Very easy to access them.
