We had a very pleasant and tasty experience at Mala! By far my favorite thing was the sweet and sour wontons. They were amazing!! I will crave these for a long time. The Dan Dan noodles were also great. We ordered the red oil dumplings as well, and they were good with a sweet sauce but I prefer the sweet and sour over those. We also ordered the spicy duck which was not very hot but had decent flavor. Next time I would probably pick something else. Our service was also very good. We will definitely be back!

Great food, great service and overall great atmosphere. I love this place, the food is so flavorful! The food is spicy but not to the point where it hurts, it is just right.
I ordered a to-go the other day. The food is very mediocre. I ordered a 13 salt and pepper spare rib. What I got was 8 pieces of rib that are 1-2 inches long. My husband looked at it and goes, is that baby food? You got something much better taste wise or quantity wise at cooking girl and central China’s, seriously.
Oh my goodness this place is so delicious! I usually don't like Chinese food because of the heavy salty sauces on many of the dishes but this place was wonderful! The fried rice wasn't saturated with soy sauce which is how I like friend rice. The sweet potato noodles dish was definitely a pleasant surprise. The dumplings were lightly sauced and not overly salty. Everything was balanced and well flavored. We will definitely be coming back.
Nice decoration and atmosphere. Had “green tea and bacon (Katy only)” fried rice. Good flavor but might be a little too much MSG. MaPo tofu was okay. However, the “Glass noodle and minced pork (蚂蚁上树)” was a terrible experience, lack of flavor and too watery. We notified the waiter at the end, but didn’t get any response. Would like to see some improvement
