Honestly the WORST experience. I got my ring resized here and it broke literally the next day. I work as a bridal consultant and I was carrying a dress and it immediately broke. I was extremely upset as I had just got it resized and they refused to fix it. So disappointing, especially because they offered to “fix it” by changing me more. Will never shop here again and will not recommend this store to my future brides or family.

I find it interesting that when I walk in, there is no acknowledgement without effort, yet when another woman walks in a minute after me, everyone jumps at the chance to welcome her in and assist her. I don't know what I did but it felt as though I was wasting their time being in there.

A bit of a frustrating experience, I stopped in today hoping to have my engagement ring inspected. I entered the store and waited approximately 10 minutes before being acknowledged. Then, I find out everything needs an appointment. Yes, I attempted calling the location multiple times. I feel like the phone there is never picked up. I was attempting to call to see what the process would be to have my ring inspected prior to entering the store. I understand policies and processes are much different with COVID, but, please try to answer the phone for people before they go out of their way for service.

Been a Kay customer for 35 years. Bought engagement and wedding ring for my wife there. Bought 10 year and 20 year anniversary jewelry there. Bought numerous birthday, Christmas etc. presents for my wife and daughter here & at Northtown location. Kay a while back switch from a previous banking partner to Comenity Bank. They had me with a 10,000 line of credit. I carry an 802 credit score. They decided after 35 years of business since I had paid cash for my last three purchases they were going to cancel my card. No warning, no communication. Found out wen I went to make a 2,500.00 purchase and my card wouldn't work. Kay confirmed account was closed 21 earlier (right before Christmas) due to inactivity. It had a zero balance and a positive rating on the account. Kay associates response, "well let's just get you qualified for a new account"! NOPE! No help from bank. No help from manager. I'm taking y business elsewhere. Also have closed another retail account with Comenity as the financial backer. Their professionalism and Kay's lack of concern have lost them my business.

I went with my brother to purchase a ring as a present for Christmas. The gal we worked with great to work with, no complaints there. A few days after the ring was worn the middle diamond fell out. My brother went to exchange the ring and the women who helped him today 1/6/2020 treated him so rudely. The ring looked a little different so he wanted to be sure it was correct so he went to get a picture to confirm and she began belittling him and he had to tell her not to talk to him like hes less than her. The manager ended up taking over the rest of the transaction. Judging by the reviews on this site, seems to be their way of treating customers who have issues with their jewelry not long after spending hundreds of dollars at their store. There were other customers in the store whom had left after seeing how he was treated. Neither of us will ever purchase from them again.
