We used Kautz Construction and its sister company, KC Green Energy, for a roof replacement and a solar electric installation. We dealt mainly with Josh, who provided detailed helpful information in a very professional, low-pressure manner while we were still shopping around for a solar installer. Because of this, we went with KC Solar. All of the work by both the roofing crew and the solar crew was of very good quality. They were there when they said they would be and did the work in a timely way and professional manner. All of the people were very considerate and easy to work with. Josh answered all of our questions when any issue came up; I would recommend KC Green Energy w/o hesitation.

Great installation and quality parts used. The post-installation support is close to non-existent. Customer service is nowhere to be found. Solar site monitoring is sporadic, at best. The company is either switching away from residential business or getting out of solar altogether. Oh and to the points below, the promised to compensate us for lack of monitoring, told us \check was in the mail\ and two weeks later, nothing. They also closed a ticket with Solar Edge before it was resolved (still have production issues).
