To sum it up: horrible customer service and difficult company policies. I've had the misfortune of dealing with Keene Medical Products off and on for about 18 years. Every, and I mean EVERY time it has been a bad and difficult experience. The customer service is not only slow but their agents have horrible interpersonal skills when talking with customers. To make matters worse, company policies hinder placing orders in a timely manner. I have since found another supplier who had my order delivered the very next day. Keene Medical couldn't get it done in over 3 weeks and after multiple phone calls from me AND my doctors office! Don't waste your time, money or energy.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with every interaction here over several years. Thank you for making complicated things easier.

I contacted Keene Medical Products in order to replace my CPAP mask and hose. I do not fault the employees that work there. They are just following company rules. But they couldn't have been less empathetic. I'm from out of town and I was really in a bind. They told me that there were a myriad of reasons why they couldn't help me unless i paid 67 for the hose and 295 for the mask. Despite assurances from my insurance company Blue Cross/Blue Shield that they would cover me, KMP employees referred my matter to their corporate office and said that the issue could take days. And if I tried to contact anyone to expedite the issue, it would only slow the process down. Finally, since they showed no sense of urgency to help me or even feigning concern for my well being, I asked if there were any other CPAP parts suppliers nearby. The woman attending to me mentioned Apria. So I called Apria at 4:25. Mind you. I had been haggling with KMP for 6 hours now. Apria was actually already closed but a friendly guy answered the phone and told me to head on over. 6 minutes later I walked in and a jovial bearded fellow walked out of the office, shook my hand and gifted me a free CPAP tube. I offered to pay but he refused, saying it was an extra. Talk about night and day. The tone of a business, good or bad, is set at the top. I get that. How does KMP stay in business? Check out Apria Healthcare at 815 Court Street. They just do the right thing

DO NOT buy any products from this company. They overcharge and do not communicate at all.

My disdain for this company has been in place for years, They NEVER get it right. Last CPAP machine required two appointments with them each requiring me to take a half day off of from a job with no leave time, so, it was a 300.00 loss just to go there. The lady was nice enough, if very unconcerned. This last thing is the final straw. I went there today, because my CPAP mask had a tear. I was told that I couldn't buy one OTC because. like drugs, they are regulated. Its a piece of plastic! Then I was told because my \prescription\ was over a year old they couldn't help me! Prescription? its for a 2 yoa CPAP Machine that gets replaced every 6-8 years! So I got my Doc to send over the script. THEN I was told my mask was no longer made, and that I needed to be refit and BTW because I had not been evaluated by my provider, it would not be covered by insurance, and that I would have to pay 290.00 out of pocket, AND the appointment would have to next week. I have drastic breathing issues and a heart problem, so I fixed the mask with some duct tape and hope it will hold. Oh and I found the mask for the machine on line for 36.00.... Very nasty taste in my mouth from these folks. Can't wait to get the boiler plate they send all unhappy customers
