The service was great as well as the ice cream! As soon as I walked in I was pleasantly greeted and offered to try the ice cream flavors...the guys working there were more excited for me to try the flavors than I was which made the experience exceptional! They had me tried their top flavors without me having to ask as I'd never been there before. My favorite was the one with bourbon! You have to go try it if you haven't! They also threw in a free topping for me at the end which was really nice! Their ice creams are hershey's based and we're all pretty good...can't say I tried one i didn't like... They also have frozen yogurt which I plan to get next time but they had me try the cookies and cream which was amazing...can't wait to go back!
Love the ice cream and I've been here many times! But tip to the person who made my milkshake today please don't put frozen yogurt in it...I should have said something when I saw you do it but I thought what the heck I'll give it a try...it tastes mostly like froyo and not the ice cream I wanted.
I went in there for some ice cream and when it came time to pay, the guy at the counter claimed my card wasn't working in their system with the chip reader. Meanwhile, I had just used the card minutes before arriving at their shop at the gas station and it was fine. I suggested that he type in the numbers manually. Well, low and behold, when he manually punched in the numbers it worked so evidently my card wasn't the problem as he rudely insisted and tried to humiliate me. He didn't even have the courtesy to offer an apology after I brought it to his attention that my card wasn't the problem and that he made offensive and incorrect assumptions. Instead he proceeded to argue with me in an aggressive manner and claimed "it never happened before" while trying to justify his poor treatment of a customer. Well, news flash genius, computers do glitch! I can't believe how rude and unprofessional he was. They can keep their overpriced ice cream because I will NOT be returning! Carvel is much better anyway and their large cup only costs 5, not 7. Highway robbery for lousy ice cream with terrible service! Never again.
I can't state enough how much I enjoy this new ice cream place on Kenilworth Boulevard. The flavors are fresh and delicious, with some exceptional surprises (try the Oatmeal Cookie or the Banana Pudding!). The staff is patient and courteous. Sweet Land is *very* clean. There is lots of variety, including hard ice cream, frozen yogurt, shakes, bubble tea. I hope to enjoy their services for years to come.
Great new place! Have been stressing out about finding a good ice cream parlor for my wife since we’re new to the area. Sweet Land made the cut!
staff was so nice! lots of flavor and variety. got the pomegranate raspberry frozen yogurt and it’s my new favorite. portions are HUGE!! will def be returning.
