A fantastic experience at Seashore Trolley Museum. The guided train tour had two of the best guides one could ever ask for. The amount of history and the insights that they share is beyond comparison. I would even go on to say that it is worth driving up north from Boston to the museum just for the guided tour itself. The museum is also home to locomotives of a bygone era. It is also one of the oldest and largest museum of mass transit vehicles. They also have a good collection of memorabilia available for purchase. P.S. - This place is a photographer’s paradise. A portrait photo shoot can be easily done here. The museum provides a huge canvas for some terrific backgrounds.

Awesome experience! Flashback to a bygone era with some amazing people who bring history back for all of us to enjoy. I bought tickets online (14) to lock in my time and it was super easy once I got there. The trolley ride is definitely the highlight, with seeing all of the historic trolleys in the barns. There are so many old trolleys and buses here. It's great to see all of the volunteers who have helped renovate the cars and buildings. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates old transportation or trains.
Absolutely love to coming to visit this Museum! The staff there are unbelievably friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the equipment they maintain on site. I was also educated about the future projects their funding with their donations such as the new building to keep their subway cars in! Very exciting things going on here!
What a fun adventure for my grandsons. We expected to spend maybe an hour or two but had to leave after 3.5 hours only because it was approaching nap time. We could have easily spent the whole day. Great place, great volunteers, awesome history. We bought a family membership because we KNOW we will be back.
Neat museum featuring trolleys and busses. The museum dates back to the 30's. That alone is impressive. The best part is a short trolley ride that is offered on several trolleys, most of which predate 1924. There are a number of junky looking trolleys and busses on the premises. It would be nice if they could cover those or at least put some signs out to explain the history and their proposed restoration. Other than that small issue, I would highly recommend this place for families.
