We've brought our daughter here since birth, 3 years ago. I chose this practice for multiple reasons but often became frustrated with the wait times; still I would remind myself of WHY we came here. Then, this weekend, I was out of town on family emergency and my child became very sick. Daddy had to take her in for a doctors visit. He called me wanting to run by all the things that Dr. Winters Smith was suggesting because very shortly, I would be on a plane and unavailable. He was nervous about not being able to check with me step by step; we have had many bad experiences with the medical community and have developed a mistrust (before our little one came along). At some point I remember stopping him and saying \I fully trust whatever Dr. Winters Smith suggests. She is our doctor for a reason.\ That felt REALLY good. THAT is exactly who you want for a pediatrician. Worth every second of waiting.

Went to Breastfeeding Class 101. It was a terrific experience. Never heard of this place before today but will for sure look into transferring my 12 year old here as well as my future new born. The staff were very friendly and provide top notch tips that curved by curiosity on what to expect. I feel more confident in breastfeeding now that I went to the class. I would recommend this class to any new noms or moms needing a refresher course on newborn care. This class was very educational ,plus it was free.

2 phone calls to try to get my child into this practice. Both calls discussed at length my son's current medication. After I requested records sent to this doc, they REFUSED to make an appointment, stating they were discriminating against my son due to his current medication which they were WELL aware of before I requested records. NEVER called me back, REFUSED to explain, WILL not give my records to me. I wouldn't get within 100 yards of this place with my kid!

Today was my daughter’s 3yr well baby checkup. She has been with Kennesaw Pediatrics since birth. My husband & I have always loved the Dr’s & nurses here. Today’s appointment was particularly great. I wish I could remember our nurses name because she made my daughter feel so at ease & was able to give the flu shot without my daughter even noticing. Dr. Winters-Smith was so kind & knowledgeable. My daughter talked about Dr. Lisa all day! We moved to Woodstock last year but plan to remain with Kennesaw Pediatrics. We’ve loved every Dr we’ve seen. Dr. Strauss, Dr. Pitts, etc. They’re all great. I also want to add that we were called into the office within 2mins of arriving. Thank you Kennesaw Pediatrics!

I like it here. My son likes it too. We the NP for well checks. They don't rush, they listen to the patient and the parent. The exam rooms look dated and well worn with 80s horror movie lighting, but we aren't waiting more than 15min. Interesting fire escape plan.
