I found my review of Davis & Davis on this website from two years ago, and my opinion has not changed. After more than10 years of service calls, Davis & Davis continues to be very professional. Their technicians arrive for appointments on time, and they are skilled at what they do when it comes to keeping your air conditioning and heating systems functioning properly. They even showed me how to maintain my a/c system by making sure I change its filter once a year. Their most recent visit involved tightening screws on a heavy indoor return grill that was on the wall next to our steps. I feared that it would eventually fall and hit someone or something. Tom took care of the problem by securely tightening those screws. If you are looking for quality service, I highly recommend this company.

Came home to no heat, called Davis&Davis at 8am, service arrived at 9am, problem diagnosed (shorted wiring), solved, and heat restored before 10am.

My mother has been a contract customer with Davis and Davis for many years; they installed her current furnace and AC and do yearly maintenance. This year, although they did their maintenance in July, the furnace didn't work when she turned it on in September. They came out to \fix\ it. It still didn't work. They came out again in the middle of October to \fix\ it. It still didn't work. After repeated calls and requests for emergency service, I was told to try turning it off and back on again, and that maybe they'd send someone out some time. My mother is 95 years old and it is cold out. I don't know if they are incompetent or simply don't care, but they don't seem to be able to make the equipment they installed work. Time to find another company.

At the end of the summer our very old AC system stopped working. Davis & Davis promptly sent Tom to our house and saved the day! It was sweltering hot that day and Tom worked very quickly to get it working again and was also so friendly to our dog, too. Thank you!
