This store is the year round source for a wide variety of costumes, wigs, props, etc. They staff is awesome! They go out of their way to assist you. I would highly recommend them!

Gene's Costumes is a hidden gem. Unlike the giant box stores, this tiny shop has lots of one-of-a-kind costumes that will set you apart. Located in a quaint little house in Kensington, it still packs a big punch! The aisles are lined with masks, stuffed animal heads, makeup elaborate head pieces and much more. For more specific costumes like Michael Jackson, Princess Lea, Louis XIV, or Minnie Mouse... you can rent. Of course the popular items like Jon Snow (Game of Thrones), pirates, witches and clowns are readily available for purchase. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. If you don't see what you are looking for, be sure to ask. They might still have it stashed in their warehouse.
The store presents a large variety of items, but the real plus is the owner, who is such a sweet lady that is really interested in getting the best for you. Best experience in a costume store.
Such friendly and helpful staff. You would never know looking at it from the outside, but the selection is huge. Tons of accessories and even makeup to make any costume complete. Prices are great too! Parking is is free but limited in a shared lot with the body shop next door on the right.
The owner was very personable and went out of her way to help us.
