This place is absolutely fantastic. I called initially to see if they were busy and was told there was no wait - the gal was super nice! When I arrived there were only 2 people inside. There was a table that said \stop\ that also had a cup for \clean\ and \dirty\ pens, as well as a large jug of hand sanitizer. The young woman I talked to on the phone came out to greet me and had me fill out some paperwork and give her my insurance info. I waited maybe 10-15 minutes to go in which is honestly faster than my regular doctor's office. The other young lady (whose name I forgot... I forgot everyone's names, I am so sorry! Long day!) got my weight and vitals. She listened to everything I said about what was going on (some sort of heart palpitations). She never cut me off and only asked clarifying questions. I waited maybe another 10 minutes for the doctor (or nurse practitioner, I didn't ask) to come in. She was also SO SWEET. Again, she really listened to what I had to say to make sure she understood and how to proceed. She listened to my heart and lungs and did an EKG. We also talked about what the issue could be, how my anxiety plays into it, and steps going forward. In the end we decided that I was good to go home but should contact my primary care for a follow up. I got a copy of the EKG as well as a letter indicating what they tested and their recommendations (possibly a heart monitor). Anyway, everyone was so nice. I was terrified due to covid but everything was so clean and everyone had masks (OVER THEIR NOSE, THANK YOU ), and their reassurance/kindness made me feel so safe. As someone with panic disorder and GAD, I cannot thank you all enough for such amazing care during these crazy times especially. I hopefully won't have another reason to go to urgent care anytime soon, but if I have to or if someone needs a recommendation - this is the place! Much love. Keep being awesome!

I have a lot of experience with urgent care centers, across the nation. I’ve worked in insurance, dealt with and seen much. Then on top of it, I have a medical condition that makes me very familiar with top-notch providers and hospitals. AFC is outstanding. Period. I’ve been treated like a neighbor, a family member, etc., every time I call and visit for appts. My name is remembered, I’m always in positive convos with all employees. Dr. Lee, however, took it to the next level. He addressed issues I could not get other Doctors to, elsewhere, with my complex medical condition. He solved the puzzle, providing me huge benefits my entire family is over-the-hill about. We could not be happier. Thank you AFC Urgent Care Southcenter!!!!!

Wasn't sure if I needed to be seen, but finally couldn't stand the pain anymore and went in. So glad they got me in! Lindsey was awesome and answered all my questions. I would definitely go back if needed. Everyone was great

I've never had a problem with blood pressure, ever in my life, not once. When the gal tried to take my blood pressure she used a sleeve that was way too big, would have probably been larger on my leg. This thing swelled up nearly as large as a watermelon on my arm and never actually felt tight on my arm. She then recorded that I have extremely high blood pressure. She gave me a bit of time to relax then attempted the test again. This time the sleeve fell off my arm and rather than stop the test she reached down and quickly rapped it back around my arm and held it there as the machine completed the test. This time my blood pressure was recorded even higher. The third time she did the test old school with the hand pump. This time my blood pressure was perfect. I'm now listening as a high blood pressure risk.

I am so impressed with this facility! I had a great experience with every person I came in contact with. Waiting room feels relaxed with lots of seating. Nurses are focused and friendly. What impressed me most was my interaction with the practitioner. She had a very positive energy, she was quick, thorough and honestly just made me feel well taken care of. Will most definitely come here in the future!!
