Just a cute little village complete with shopping area, restaurants, ice skating rink (free if you have your own skates), and right off the ski lifts. They have a good crepe place that is affordable and generous portions. Parking is a hassle if you are not staying at River Run, I've seen the parking lot at full capacity on several of the days I stayed.

Seriously amazing spot!! Really great location and the apt we got was perfect and had everything we needed!
At the base of the mountain. Can walk to the gondola. Lots of shops but many closed due to covid. Too bad. Thanks to the shops and restaurants that are still open.
Best family ski resort in the area - hands down! But I can only compare the Epic pass places. If you have a family of 4 (2 kids) you will always get free premium parking and so far it has been at all times of the day for us. Crepes and stuffed cookies are a must and the gondolas are great when its a tad to cold! Super fun long runs!
