We went for our honeymoon booked cabin 2 months ago. Checked in cabin and the hot tub did not work, dirty, no towels got different cabin. We leave to go eat and have a little fun, upon our return the cabin reeked of Marijuana, the book was messed up and smelled like fireball liquor, and the left over food from our lunch had been eaten out of the icebox. So all around not a good company to rent from. We left in the middle of the night and they will not refund my money, they answer the phone when they want to take your money but after you check in they will not answer phone or email

Rent at your own risk!!! This review is specific to Kiamichi Country Cabins a.k.a. Kiamichi Cabins (the rental co.) and Timber Ridge Hideaway ( the cabin we stayed in). Upon contacting the rental company through the email provided in our reservation confirmation, we received ZERO replies. Since then, I have written them twice and received no response, no offer of a partial refund, or discount on future stays. Kiamichi is unresponsive at best, and at worst they just simply don't care about their customers. The list of issues encountered is below - to us, any of these are unacceptable from a reputable rental company, and during COVID the lack of cleanliness is even more disturbing and unacceptable: 1. We found a pair of dirty socks made up in one bed. The socks were made up, inside the sheets, between the fitted sheets and the flat sheet. The sheets appeared to be unwashed as well. 2. We found at least 3 dead and 2 living roaches inside the cabin; our kids killed other bugs, but didn't identify them before throwing them in the trash. 3. Utensils stored in the cabinets were not clean. The grilling utensils (spatula, fork and tongs) had caked on grease and seasoning on them (see pic). The pots/pans in the cabinet had food caked on them. The baking sheet and some plates were very greasy. We had to wash everything prior to using them, even though they were stowed away to appear as if they were clean. 4. The dishwasher only has a bottom rack, and the bottom rack doesn't have wheels on it so it is VERY difficult to pull in and out of the dishwasher. 5. The master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced - it sinks in the center and "tacos" even if only one person is on it. It was, without a doubt, the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever tried to sleep on. 6. The bunk beds in the bunk room were unstable - my daughter climbed to the top bunk and it swayed back and forth so much that we made her sleep on the bottom bunk of one of the different beds.

Let me start with I rarely complain! I completely understand that sometimes stuff happens. I rented a cabin MONTHS in advance, I got an email a week before saying the hot tub was out of order (the only reason we made the reservation was for the hot tub).I called to see if we could get a different location and she said that they would have it working by Friday, and would call me back to confirm, I heard nothing. I called every day and was told the same thing. The day of check in I called again and was told it would be working by the time I got there and would call me back. Nothing!!!! Drove 5 hours to a cabin with no working hot tub, 1 pool stick that worked, I called and asked and her response was I can give you 20 back, and that she would speak to the owner and call me back! Still haven’t heard a thing!!! I was so excited to make this company my regular cabin rental for all the times I go out! But absolutely not a chance!! I’m so let down.

I booked a cabin over 4 months in advance of our trip. Later that evening I saw all of the negative reviews and photos and decided to cancel and go with another company. At the cost for this trip I'm not going to risk it. I reached out via their site and calling to cancel (told them I was just confirming the reservation so that they would be more likely to call me back as other reviews said they are not responsive to cancelations). After calling several times I finally got an answer and canceled. She said they would issue a refund. I finally got the refund and they kept 25. It's not much but it sure feels like a racket. They did nothing and the cabin was reserved for about 12 hours. If they had responded sooner it would have been even less. I would not recommend doing business with this group.

We visited on January 2021 (Rustling Oaks Cabin) and upon arrival we were beyond disappointed. Cabin looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, fans had black dust on them, floors were dirty and to make things worse, mattress had blood stains, yes blood stains, which per visitors’ book in the cabin, the stains been there since March 2020. Surroundings were quiet and beautiful but very disappointed with the cabin conditions.

Our family just returned from a wonderful extended weekend stay at Boots Up. My first impression was how adorable it was! It was tidy, cleverly decorated, and clean. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and even saw deer while sitting on the front porch drinking coffee one morning. It's easily accessible to everything but still feels far off in the woods because of all the tall, gorgeous pines! What a treat! I was impressed with the way they'd taken so much care in all the little details like pretty matching towels and swimsuit/towel hooks EVERYwhere, plus all the matching accessories and plates, a few snacks waiting for us, and plenty of soaps and make up wipes. The mattresses were comfy, bedding was soft and clean, and ceiling fans in each room. We didn't use the fireplace (it was too warm for that!) but I can imagine us coming back to this very cabin and enjoying that feature as well. We were fortunate to get such a great place and we will definitely be back. Everything was superb!

Overall we enjoyed our family vacation. However, the cabin could have been cleaner. I was told before we checked in that ALL blankets and bed linens were washed when someone checks out. The sheets were washed, but the blankets had dog hair all over them causing severe allergies for my family the first night. We spent the entire first evening, since check in isn't until 3pm, washing all the blankets. After that, the second evening was much better. The hot tub would not work upon arriving and we had to call the maintenance man out. He fixed the hot tub and we enjoyed it. He also had to turn up the hot water heater. We had a cabin with 9 people in it and the water was luke warm at best. After he turned up the heat on it, it was much better. Due to covid concerns, I would think all the blankets would be washed along with the sheets, but trust me they are NOT!. It took us over 6 hours just to wash and dry all of them. We are going to make going to Broken Bow cabins our new family tradition, but I think next time we will try to find another luxury cabin. The windows were very nice in this cabin and overall it was a good experience for my family. There were plenty of towels and dishes and cookware. Just double wash everything because whoever cleans the cabin doesn't do a thorough job especially in the middle of a pandemic. Unless I get a big discount next time for the 1 day not up to par we will not be staying here again. It was about 1000 for 2 days and you don't even get a full day on the first day because you can't check in until 3pm.
