I truly enjoyed my stay here at Luana Kali. We stayed in a partial ocean view condo. The kitchen was fully stocked with silverware, dishes, cooking utensils and just about EVERYTHING you need. There is quiet time, and the surrounding area is quiet for the most part. There is a dishwasher, washer and dryer included with the unit. They included discount vouchers that we used which was very nice. The only thing I did not like was the shower. The floor appears dirty, and the shower head causes water to leak everywhere. Wish they would fix that. We will definitely be coming back here! Thank you Luana Kai!

The places are definitely dated. But the unit is very clean. The washer and dryer are like 10 years old, and making every weird and loud noise once it's done. Also be in mind if you live in the first floor, there will be lots of bugs. The rate is very cheap, but you definitely need to get an ac unit for sure, that's 20 extra per night, I guess you just get what you pay for:) If you are on a budget travelling plan, then this is a decent place, the shower is really nice!
Beautiful, friendly, affordable. Located right next to the ocean, comfortable rooms with lanai (balconies) and helpful staff make relaxing here a pleasure. Be sure to ask for air conditioning if you think you will need it - it costs extra and is only in the bedrooms. I did without and it wasn't really an issue for me.
This place is a looney bin!!! A bunch of retired old folk live here some of which should be in a psych hospital. Front desk staff is a miserable old grouchy lady she will be in charge of your parking pass and she is very rude and and will not want to answer any questions, she takes it upon herself to bother you. Hard to get your mail here if you happen to order anything. If you do decide to stay here avoid any conversations with older people no matter how nice they approach you at first. These people are board out of their minds and think they are the Maui FBI. Sociopaths !!!
Great location and facilities. The apartment/ condo was perfect for a group of 4. With kitchen, balcony and large common areas it was perfect. The public area had a nice pool and big spa/ hot tub area. As well as a clean outdoor BBQ kitchen space. Beautiful and neat be sure to head out to the beach that is at the back of this property during sunset to see turtles bobbing up in the water
When you drive up this place you think “what is this place”, but when you’re on the inside, the place looks very nice and well maintained. The apartment was a bit outdated, but it really had everything you could need. The pool is nice too. It’s right at the beach. Do not expect to snorkel though: there is nothing to see here.
Staff is very pleasant and helpful. My unit was a little dated but very clean. It went there for business, essential worker. If your vacationing your not going to spend too much time in the room anyways. Hawaii is too beautiful. Pricing was much better than big hotels. AC is extra if the unit is equipped.
