This place is awesome. My wife and I were looking for a nice restaurant to eat for our anniversary. The decor is awesome and we were seated in a timely fashion. Our waitress, who’s name was Nancy, was the absolute best. Our drinks arrived quickly and were awesome. Our order was out quickly and done to perfection. Unfortunately as soon as our food arrived we had to leave, but Nancy was very helpful in getting our food in boxes and making sure we had everything we needed all while she waited on 3 other tables. I would give this place 10 stars if I could this is what customer service is about and we will be back next time we come back to OBX thank you Jolly Roger Restaurant and staff

I always wanted to try the Jolly Roger coming to the Outer Banks often and driving by it a lot. It was a cool atmosphere outside in the parking lot. They had outdoor live music and seating. We sat inside due to seating availability only being available immediately inside. The house salad and the fettuccine Alfredo with scallops were good. The crab cakes said they were award winning on the menu and the options were fried or broiled. I asked the waitress which version of the crab cakes won the award. She said she didn’t know but most people do broiled. The crab cakes were fishy tasting. The buffalo shrimp was good as an appetizer. The menu was really big. I think sticking to the Italian pasta dishes is the way to go.

Went for breakfast, had the beni’s...and they were delicious. Homemade biscuits and bread, mmmmmmmm Friendly staff and great service. Will definitely go back.

The Jolly Roger Restaurant did not disappoint, to say the least. If your in Kitty Hawk living the dream, do yourself a favor... get out of bed and go eat breakfast here! The food is awesome! Obviously the breakfast kitchen staff has cooked a breakfast or two! The eggs ( stand alone!) were full of flavor as were the home fries that neighbored them on the plate! Pancakes? Well... if a place offers Pancake Lasagna as a dish, you know the pancakes are serious! Last but not least, the Bloody Mary is so good you'll hit them in the head for two! Not just a small glass of mostly ice, they come in a large ice tea craft, in legendary homemade mix with a giant stalk of celery. The prices are extremely reasonable! Can't wait to return to this new favorite!
