Could be a great golf store. It has a pretty extensive inventory but the customer service is terrible. I have been coming here all my life but can't remember anyone asking me if they could help me. I didn't want to interrupt the employees conversations. I have bought multiple sets of clubs over the past decade from other vendors because no one at King Par tried to sell me any.

They have a lot of great equipment with no price listed. Whatever you do do NOT go in there without wearing at least a polo and slacks ready to hit the course, i wore a t-shirt an jeans with to spend and couldn't get a sales persons attention, once i did yhey basically blew me off. I will go back just to try a club then order somewhere else online.
Good inventory. You can tell though, that some employees don't want to be "bothered". Website is gray screen. ..nothing there. Should update.
What a pleasant surprise; my Orlimar sandals came apart after almost 1 year of use and they replaced them right away. This was after the retail shop in Florida did nothing to help me. I'll buy everything I need from King Par from now on.
If you are under the age of 30 and trying to get help or looking to buy something you will be waiting around for a long time. Most of the guys won't help you unless you go up to them and ask. Most places ask if you need any help with anything, but not this one. The range is good, especially in the winter time with the heaters on the tee boxes. The selection is not the best, but if you're looking for the generic TaylorMade clubs this is the place for you. I always enjoy going to the tent sales they have throughout the year, but the prices aren't that much different than normal. Overall it's a semi decent experience. I make it there usually a few times a month.
I would not say this is one of the best facilities around by any means. The service is usually disappointing. They never have the equipment I am looking for but can always order it. I feel like I am bothering the staff when I want to talk to someone. They do have a good selection of bags. The range is okay but nothing special. If you live up north this is kind of the place to go but would rather go to Maple Hill - Grand Rapids (selection), Bobicks - Kalamazoo (prices), or Carl's - Metro Detroit locations.
Always a great visit. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable.
One of the best golf shops in Michigan! I've visited King Par many times on a regular basis on their double deck heated golf range as well as to buy something that I need in the store. They never fail to have what I need! King Par has a lot of parking lot spaces to accommodate all their customers either to visit the golf range or shopping for golf equipments or apparels. They offer just about every major golf brand of products that you see on the PGA and LPGA tour. My favorite set of clubs is Orlimar Tour 1 and I am an avid seven handicap golfer. The venue seems to have all the products carefully positioned from head-to-toe as you walk around the shop. On the right side as you’re entering the store is clothing/accessories, putter selection and putting area, shoes, hats, belts etc.., In the middle of the store are golf balls selection, gloves and smaller on-course tools like tees, divot tools, and coins markers and the checkout counter etc,,. On the left hand side are the vast club selections, golf bags, demos, club and grip repair area as well as the entrance to the golf range. The staff are friendly and ready to help. Also, check out their tent sales in the spring and in the summer.
