BEST ARROW DYNAMICS SUSPENDED COASTER EVER! I LOVE IT IN THE FRONT ROW BECAUSE THE SWING ON THE BRAKE RUN IS INSANE!

The Bat was a highlight of Kings Island to me. An awesome suspended swinging coaster in the woods with a cool name and logo. Well paced, intense, scenic, and fun. No faults here!

The best and most intense arrow suspended coaster. By all means this thing isnt intense, but features a straight drop which is fun. The rest of the layout is just getting swing around. Also it is a long walk to get there.

'The Bat' will forever be remembered as 'Top Gun', too me! This ride was a childhood favorite, swinging around or waiting in line, with The Top Gun song playing, I always felt on top of the world. The ride itself only boast a top speed of 51mph with a 70 foot drop but the illusion that you are literally going to fly off the track with some of the twist and turns, is always fun. It's a bumpy and rough rider, compared to coasters of today, but I am OK with that. An oldie-but a goodie. The Hike to and from the coaster is quite the walk but I enjoy the bit of isolation from the rest of the park for a few. Nice fun coaster. Everything that 'The Iron Dragon' at Cedar Point, should and could have been, but wasn't.

Very nice coaster which uses the terrain well.

This coaster used to be my favorite ride at kings island before I had the courage to go on the bigger rides. This ride is smooth but really forceful making a good ride. The line is always short too so you can just get right on. The reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it is a long walk to get to the loading station, the lift hill is a little bit slow (not really a problem for me but could be for other people), and the ride is really quick.

Underrated coaster at Kings Island. Really fun, smooth, and faster than what you think it will be. It definitely is better than Iron dragon at Cedar Point, and the wait is usually really short. Don’t like how it’s a bit of a hike to get to the station (but that might contribute to the short wait times), and the ride itself is a bit short. Really fun though!

OK, sure, it's been 're-themed' a few times and it's off in a corner of the park that feels like a hike. Those two things aside? It's a nice quick ride that's perfect for young kids that might not care for other coasters -- it doesn't go inverted, it's got comfortable restraints, and the operators have a continual stream of jokes/commentary to keep the mood up/line moving. My 10-yr old considers this, and I quote, "criminally underrated, since it is nothing less than orange perfection." If you've got small kids and it's early in the day? The Bat's a solid contender to get a few back-to-back rides in before crowds show up.
