Recently found this park and absolutely love it! It makes it seem like I'm not right next to the city. The trees are tall, the plants are green, and there are so many social trails where you can wander. One time we went, we were told we shouldn't park in the middle of the lot even though the outside slots were full. They guy monitoring the lot made us wait for a car to back out and asked us to move to make space for horse trailers. When we got back from the trails, there were other cars parked in the middle with plenty of space... So if that didn't happen, I'd rate it 5 stars. Overall I would highly recommend. :)

A great little adventure out of the city limits. The perfect toddler trail walk. Wide, clearly marked trails. You might even get to see or pet a horse along your way! I didn't see any bathrooms near the parking lot. After our hike, we ate at Burgermaster in our car not far away...the perfect social-distancing trip for two going crazy sitting at home girls!

Seemed great minus closing so early of a time. I walked off the trails into the forest pretty much first thing so I didn't get too far due to terrain taking longer to traverse. It was a good first experience into a life path I assume will lead me to wanting to walk thru jungles. I didn't find anyone else off trail myself an magic mushrooms were not aplenty where I did go. If you are looking for the latter I have found better places in harder to traverse/less populated areas.

Very nice and cool in the summer, great for walking and horseback trail riding. Gets cold in the winter because of the small amounts of sunlight, but as long as you wear warm clothes you can experience the beauty of the park. I come here often with my family and find it a great place to blow off steam.
