We used Rain City Exteriors to change our old roof which was leaking. We are very pleased with their service. They put a temporary tarp until the weather cleared to change the roof in January. When the time came to actually change the roof, the crew was prompt to arrive at 8.30 am and complete the job in 4 days. The crew was professional and courteous. We also installed a skylight through them to brighten up a room. Even though fixing the interiors of the skylight was not in their contract, Jose went out of the way to get the skylight functional by doing the interior work. They also promised to give a certificate from the roof manufacturer GAF to back up the quality of their work. We are very happy with the quality of their work and would be happy to refer them to our friends who are looking to changing the roof.

Great company, great work and great experience for us from beginning to end. The quality of their work is excellent and they worked with us during all phases of the project to ensure that we were satisfied. A definite recommend!

•Uncommunicative. Left me waiting for hours with zero response to calls or texts a few times, after I had left work early to be home for the meetings. •The job took weeks instead of days. •The new skylight we got was installed in the wrong place. They cut into the roof without checking in the attic and as a result we had to get a plumber out asap to reroute some venting pipes. •The skylight \tunnel\ is not square in the corners; so is obviously crooked. ** There was a death in the company owners family, and I am truly sorry for their lost, but they had numerous people who could have been put in charge and taken over the job. Instead the entire things became more of a shambles. The job was already delayed with severe lack of communication by this point anyway.

We used Rain City Exteriors to remove old shakes and install James Hardie Shakes two years ago. I would use them again since they completed the job on budget, and were very competitive. It is important to let the contractor know while the job is in process if there is something that needs to be corrected instead of waiting until the end of the job. Rain City was responsive in addressing our requests to fix something that didn't seem right during the process. On our particular job, they ran out of materials and had to scramble to find supplies to finish the project which took a couple of extra days to complete. That was the only hiccup we had during the whole project.

This is a first impression review (no work done). They were quick to send someone out to give an estimate/quote. Despite that I had explained at length the extent of damage to the framing, they sent someone without telling them extent of damages. He had to tell me they will have to send someone else next week as he could not do it. I may still give them a chance to take on the job, but will be looking for other contractors while i wait. Again this was just a first impression and i can not speak for their quality of work at his time.
