In a historical building that's been (as I understand it) has been a general store, post office, bed and breakfast. In its current inception as a restaurant, it retains the name of the historical owner and serves up the home-cooked style food in an attempt to retain the spirit and hospitality of our namesake.

Great place to eat, great staff, service and food. Can't do much better for a quick bite.

Smoked Salmon Chowder & their Slow-roasted Porketta sandwich was off the charts!!

Doing a little mini honeymoon with my wife of 1 week and came to Emily's Eatery and got prompt service to our table. Food was really good. Wife had fish bites and fries from the appetizer and I had the knife river sandwich. Nice view of the river under the train tracks. Modestly price. Candy shop right across the road.

This little jewel sits on the banks of the Knife River providing a very relaxing dining experience. The prices a great for some good quality dinner. I had the walleye fillet and it was cooked perfectly. The other members of my party had the Superior Burger and the Club sandwich. Both enjoyed them. The fried cheese curds are a must!

The salmon chowde and porkers were quite good. The chicken Caesar salad was edible. Food served quickly and was hot. Service was minimal. We had to ask for napkins with the soup and silverware for salad. All the dishes were still sitting on the table when we paid the bill, and the fly count was up to about ten. Our fault, in part, for eating Outside. I checked, she had three tables. I’m not fond of eating a 13 sandwich from a plastic basket. I’m also not fond of using a rest room that uses a loose cup hook and barely long enough chain to lock the door into the hallway. We will not be back.
