I purchased a Knox stove several years ago and finally got around to setting it up. This potbelly stove purchase was based on my memories of childhood when the family sat around Great Grandma's kitchen nook with warm toes and hot chocolate in Maine. Now I am the grandma and wanted a knox potbelly for both the memories and they are great backup for winter outages (no electric necessary). I had a few issues and figured I was going to have to buy a replacement part or two, after all the stove set in the basement several years unused. Joe, knox Stove Works employee, was happy to help but I did not know what the parts were called. He asked me to take a few pics, send it to the company via email and he would help me as best he could. That he did, and a very good job he did indeed. Upon studying the pics, he did not take advantage, but gave me the information on how to properly assemble my Knox stove. No charge, no service calls, what wonderful news it is to me to find out the quality of the item that fed my childhood memories with warmth and love were based on a company with such ever lasting moralities as to let this grandma keep living the memories of her childhood.
